Canal boat engulfed in flames and submerged after fire

A fiery blaze on Saturday night (November 25) left a canal boat completely destroyed and submerged in the Kennet and Avon canal in Devizes. Firefighters and police rushed to the scene to tackle the 60-foot-long barge engulfed in flames.

Although the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, authorities have stated that no suspicious circumstances are currently suspected. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Photos taken on Sunday (November 26) depict the extent of the damage, with the boat now sunken in the water.
