In the search for missing woman Danielle Geraghty in Wiltshire, a body has been found, as confirmed by Wiltshire Police. A call for urgent assistance had been made earlier today following Geraghty’s disappearance. The 30-year-old from Swindon’s Walcot area was last seen around 2am on December 13. Wiltshire Police expressed “extreme concerns” for her welfare. Subsequently, a statement released this afternoon declared the discovery of a body in the search for Geraghty.
The police noted that formal identification of the body is pending, with the family of Danielle Geraghty already informed about the development. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Geraghty’s death is ongoing.
“We can confirm that a body has been found in our search for Danielle Geraghty, who was reported missing earlier today from Walcot,” a police spokesperson stated. “While formal identification has not yet taken place, Danielle’s family have been updated of the latest development and our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time.
